Rep. Ukodhiko attends funeral service of Chief Paul Eriri

Member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency, Hon. (Pst.) Jonathan Ukodhiko, on Saturday, attended the funeral ceremony of the late Odio-logbo of Emede Kingdom, High Chief Paul Eriri.

Speaking, Ukodhiko described Chief Eriri’s passage as a monumental loss not only to the Isoko ethnic nationality but Delta State and Nigeria generally he served selflessly.

The House of Representatives member said, “Chief Paul Eriri was a well respected and foremost elder statesman whose patriotism was unparalleled.

“Chief Eriri lived and died as an Icon with an unblemished record of dedicated service and made ample contributions to the Nigerian economy and political development.

“A patriot and nationalist politician per excellence, High Chief Eriri carried the dream of Isoko greatness in his heart and vigorously worked for its manifestations.”

Hon. Ukodhiko, Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Science and Technology lauded Chief Eriri for his philanthropy which positively impacted many lives, saying, his legacies and deed would continue to outlive him.

The funeral has in attendance, the senator representing Delta South Senatorial district, Sen. Joel Onowakpor, President-General, Isoko Development Union, Prof. Chris Akpotu, Chief of Staff to the Delta State Government, Hon Johnson Erijo, Chairman, Skyward Resources Group, Chief Eta Enahoro.

Others were former Secretary, Delta State Board of Internal Revenue, Chief Mike Edegware, Executive Director, Legal Matters, Delte State Board of Internal Revenue, Barr. Erezi Esievo, Executive Assistant on Women Affairs to the Delta State Governor, Barr. Mary Erijo, Senior Special Assistant on Petroleum Monitoring to the State Governor, Hon. Mike Ogwah and Chieftain, PDP. Engr. Peter Odunwa among others.
